What is a Healthy Body Project?

A Healthy Body Project is a 12-week journey where you will explore the key pillars of whole health and design and implement behavior and lifestyle changes to achieve your most important health objectives.

Each project is typically subdivided into two-week increments called 'sprints' where you focus on a specific pillar, learn specialized tools and techniques, commit to and implement change actions, and then measure and assess your progress.

Along your project journey, you will be working in partnership with not only me, as your HBP coach, but also with other health professionals, healers, and resources to provide you all the support you need to be successful.

Although the projects are customized to your needs and objectives, three fundamental principles are incorporated into all HBP projects:

  • Intentionality and purpose - Changes should move you closer to your objectives and support your vision for better health. They should also add measurable value to your life. Change for the sake of change is wasted effort.
  • Start from where you are - You will begin your journey with an honest assessment of where you are relative to your selected pillars. This includes assessing your available resources as well as identifying potential challenges and current life circumstances and relationships not aligned with your objectives. Remember: You, your past experiences, and your current situation are unique. Together we will approach them without judgement.
  • Lasting change - The project itself is a temporary endeavor, but the changes you make should not be. Strive to make changes that are manageable and fit your life and circumstances. Bring your life and health into alignment by crafting a supportive environment. You will create a post-project maintenance plan during the final sprint so that you can continue on your personal journey towards better health independently after the project is completed.

A note about Groups and Teams - These project methods are completely customizable for small groups, friends, families, sports teams and project teams. In fact, working within community often improves outcomes and amplifies a project's success.
